How to prepare for your RTT session
Rapid Transformational Therapy® is a powerful process. It works best when you feel safe, supported, and gently open to exploring what’s been sitting underneath the surface.
Here’s how to prepare in a way that honours you.
1. Take a moment to listen inward
Before your session, take some quiet time to reflect:
What feels heavy, repetitive, or stuck?
What pattern, habit, or feeling are you truly ready to release?
When does it show up most strongly?
How is it impacting your life right now?
If this issue were resolved, what would your life look like?
You don’t need polished answers. Just honest ones.
Clarity doesn’t have to be loud - it can be a soft knowing.
2. Be open (even if you’re skeptical)
You don’t need to ‘believe’ in hypnosis for RTT to work.
You simply need to be willing to engage.
Most clients remain fully aware during hypnosis. It feels like deep relaxation with focused attention - not losing control.
Openness allows your mind to connect dots it may never have consciously linked before.
3. Avoid alcohol or recreational substances
For 24 hours before your session, avoid alcohol and recreational drugs. Limit caffeine on the day if possible.
This work requires clarity and connection - and you want your mind clear and responsive.
4. Come rested and nourished
Try to get a good night’s sleep beforehand.
Eat something light 1–2 hours before we begin.
When your body feels steady, your mind can open more easily.
5. Create the right environment
As we’re meeting online, prepare your space as you would for something meaningful.
Choose a quiet, private space
Use headphones if possible
Silence your phone and computer notifications
Let others in your home know you’ll be unavailable for 2-3 hours
We love pets here at livefreenow, but please ensure your pets are in another room during the session
Clients often appreciate a box of tissues at hand (see next step)
Think of this as creating a small sanctuary for yourself. This is your time. Protect it.
6. Be willing to feel
RTT gently uncovers the roots of patterns and beliefs.
Sometimes that brings relief.
Sometimes it brings tears.
Sometimes it brings a deep exhale you didn’t know you were holding.
All of it is welcome (and normal).
Nothing that arises is wrong. Trust the process.
7. Release the pressure to ‘do it right’
There is no perfect way to experience RTT.
You cannot ‘fail’ hypnosis.
You cannot ‘do it wrong’.
Just follow the guidance, and allow your mind to respond naturally.
8. Commit to the integration
After your session, you’ll receive a personalised audio recording. This is essential to your transformation.
Listening daily for at least 21 days helps the new beliefs take root. Repetition reinforces the neural rewiring that happens in the session.
This is where lasting change consolidates.
Your commitment here matters.
9. Come as you are
You don’t need to be calm.
You don’t need to be confident.
You don’t need to be ‘ready’ in any perfect way.
You just need to show up.
The work begins from exactly where you are.
A gentle reminder
RTT is not about forcing change.
It’s about understanding why your mind created certain patterns of thoughts, behaviours and actions in the first place - and giving it permission to update them.
If you arrive open, curious, and committed, you give yourself the strongest possible foundation for real, sustainable change.
And that’s where freedom begins.
